You Capture: Nature

Tonight we took the kids to a park to burn off some of the everlasting energy they seem to possess. :) It was fairly late in the evening when we headed out, so this gave me a great opportunity to catch nature at one of my favorite times of the day. Ah, the beauty of seeing the sun set!

The view from the park is just beautiful. In a way it reminds me of the rolling hills of where I grew up.

Nothing is more beautiful to me then being surrounded by God's creation outdoors and my family.

I had to throw this one in of Claire and me. I didn't take it but I did set the camera up (on the right setting) so all Bill had to do was focus and snap! :)

You Capture: Sweet

It was 85 degrees here today, so I thought I'd grab my baby and head outdoors to capture some "sweet". We've been spending lots of time outside these days actually. Yeah!!

I had to use this picture because you can actually see her hair...the little bit there is. :)

Anna is my little artist. She loves to draw and paint. We always puts lots of colors into what she makes.

You Capture: Expression

I happened to catch this look of sadness on Anna's face (she didn't know I was there). She was upset with me because I was going out for coffee with a friend. I almost never go out, but she apparently didn't like it that I was. *Sigh* I think she survived! :)

She is definitely very good at expressing herself. My little drama queen, back turned to show her displeasure.

Ah, now here is the smile that I know and love!

You Capture: Joy

This weeks You Capture challenge is "Joy". At first I thought about taking pictures of my kids and husband. Obviously they bring me much joy. However, I really wanted to capture the thing that brings me a deeper, fuller joy then anything else in life....that would be my walk with my Lord. I find such joy in spending time in His Word. When I am able to rise early in the morning before my children, I brew a pot of coffee and sit in the quietness of the of the new day at my Saviors feet.

This is my chair...my quiet little corner of the house.

Bill and I took the kids to a new park around here, last week. One of the things that is so great about this park is that it is for everyone!

Here is Claire walking along a structure. Not the best picture, but I had to include it because I love the brightly colored alphabet.

Tonight as I was getting Claire ready for bed she nearly jumped out of my arms to be with Daddy. She just adores Bill.
