Test Subject
I have been saving for a long time, and was finally able to get my camera. I got the Canon Rebel xs. It came in the mail yesterday. I am so excited! I am still reading thorough the instructions...I have a lot to learn, but that's the fun part! :) Of course I spent last night trying it out. I snapped a bunch of pictures of Claire as I was putting her to bed. I think she makes a pretty cute test subject. :)

I had to save a long time for this camera too and have not regretted it at all. It's been the best purchase I've ever made.
So fun! And very cute pics! Can't wait to see what you can do in a few months!!!

I'm so excited for you! And a bit envious, as well. I want that one too but haven't even started saving yet.
Did you get the long lens too or are you just going to wait and see if you will need it? That's a whole other adventure in savings.

I love the pink/green color scheme in her room. Are those vinyl polka dot wall "stickers" or did you paint them on the wall?
