Fearfully and Wonderfully made

Ultrasound taken at 11 weeks and 4 days old. It's not very clear, but you get the idea!
Thank you God for this sweet little miracle!

For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.

My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,

your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
Psalm 139:13-16

so will you find out what you're having?
just wondering..is his health insurance covering all this now? that'd be awesome!!! i want to have more..but we don't have the health insurance for it.... so i might have to wing it at home...but i think that means no ultrasounds...how sad. :(

I'm not sure about the health insurance yet. If we don't have good coverage I might go with the midwife...I don't know what that means for the untrasound though. I would love to find out before the baby is born if it's a boy or girl.

Oh Elizabeth....I am about to be all emotional over here!

I love that God has given you the word that this child is a reminder of His promises and faithfulness to you. You believe Him big girlfriend! Celebrate the miracles that He HAS to do ... because He will be faithful to you all.

Hey Elizabeth!
Just wanted to say CONGRATS again! So happy to have found this personal blog of yours...I spent time going through and reading your past posts the other day. I must say that it was really encouraging to me and where I'm at...not that we're in the same place but I think God is showing us some of the same truths. It isn't easy "growing" sometimes, is it? Anyways, I just SO appreciated your heart and your honesty with all that is going on and I really was "impressed" by your humble thanksgiving for this NEW gift of life, even though it's not 'your' best timing...it is HIS and you are resting in that! Have a great rest of the week, girl...talk to you later! Love!

I think it's a girl (I know I said I think it's a boy - but I can change my mind all the way until you find out...)..............

Hmmm...... I'm about 50% sure - Just Kidding!

I already love this baby. Your baby is a special gift of promise. I will pray for you as you think of names - that this little one will have one special to remind you of God's promise to you.

I remember when my sister and I were pregnant together. Her 5 year old made such a great comment. Annalisa asked him what he thought they should name the baby, and he replied that they didn't need to worry about it because God had already named the baby. Isn't that precious - and so true.
